Title: CT in hemispheric ischaemic attacks. Author: Bories J, Derhy S, Chiras J. Journal: Neuroradiology; 1985; 27(6):468-83. PubMed ID: 4080145. Abstract: The authors report the three principal characteristics of hemispheric ischaemic attacks on CT scan and their development over time: hypodensity, mass effect and contrast enhancement. Their pathophysiological mechanism and prognostic importance are discussed. Finally, selected special aspects are described (misleading aspects, haemorrhagic infarcts, border zone infarcts).[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
