Abstract: Reference values for lung function testing were determined of the spirometric volume and ventilation parameters VC, FEV1, RV (n = 3,750), bodyplethysmographic airway resistance and residual volume blood gases in rest (n = 5,779) and exercise (n = 117) considering the main influencing factors age, height, sex. The results were compared with international standards. Eleven laboratories of our country were engaged in examinations.
