PubMed ID: 4082836. Abstract: Peculiarities of the formation of the syndrome of obsessive fears originating in childhood and showing a favourable outcome are considered. Thirty-eight subjects (aged 17-24 years) taken off the psychiatric registry in connection with recovery were examined. A comparative analysis of 2 groups of patients with different clinical manifestations and age at the disease onset allowed the identification of conditions contributing to a favourable time course of obsessive fears.
