Title: Dysphagia lusoria and segmental aperistalsis in the upper third of the esophagus. Author: Dantas RO, de Godoy RA, Meneghelli UG, de Oliveira RB, Troncon LE. Journal: J Clin Gastroenterol; 1985 Dec; 7(6):522-4. PubMed ID: 4086748. The segmental absence of contraction in the upper third of the esophagus was the most probable cause for the persistence of dysphagia, and could have resulted from damage related to compression or to surgical intervention in the area.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
