Title: [Inflammatory aneurysms]. Author: Noyez L, Nevelsteen A, Suy R, Stalpaert G. Journal: Acta Chir Belg; 1985; 85(6):363-6. PubMed ID: 4090862. Abstract: Inflammatory aneurysms are not so frequent, etiology and pathogenesis are uncertain. Resection can be a problem because of the dense inflammatory fibrous reaction. Preoperative diagnosis may be possible with the aid of intravenous urography and CAT-scan. The treatment of choice is an aortic replacement followed by uni- or bilateral ureterolysis and omentoplasty to cover the entire vascular reconstruction and protect the ureters.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
