  • Title: [The pattern and light electroretinogram in occlusions of the retinal vessel branches].
    Author: Vomberg HE, Heider W.
Journal: Klin Monbl Augenheilkd; 1985 Dec; 187(6):503-6. PubMed ID: 4094361.
    Abstract:
Electroretinograms to brightness stimuli (H-ERG) and pattern reversal (M-ERG) were recorded in patients with branch occlusion of the retinal artery (8 cases) and retinal veins (6 cases). While the H-ERG exhibited essentially normal curves, the M-ERG was regularly disturbed. With central fixation the amplitude of response was markedly decreased. With eccentric fixation (14 degrees) exposing most of the diseased part of the retina the M-ERG was nonexistant.
