PubMed ID: 440197. Abstract: The cases of a female patient with placenta increta and of another patient with placenta percreta and rupture of the uterus are presented. Both women were 41 years old, multiparae and had a history of multiple abortions as well as a Caesarean section. In both cases a Caesarean section, followed by a hysterectomy and supracervical amputation of the uterus respectively was done.
