    Author: Muzac ES.
Journal: J Natl Med Assoc; 1979 May; 71(5):495-500. PubMed ID: 448761.
    Abstract:
Cystadenomas and cystadenocarcinomas of the pancreas are rare, with few cases encountered by any one surgeon or institution. Cystadenomas account for less than ten percent of all cystic lesions of the pancreas with less than 300 examples reported in the literature. Cystadenocarcinomas represent one percent of all pancreatic cancers with very few cases reported. This report is a presentation of a 48-year-old black female who was treated at Meharry Medical College for cystadenocarcinoma of the pancreas, and is followed by a review of the world literature.
