Title: Preliminary clinical studies with L-prolyl-L-leucyl-glycine amide in Parkinson's disease. Author: Kastin AJ, Barbeau A. Journal: Can Med Assoc J; 1972 Dec 09; 107(11):1079-81. PubMed ID: 4640811. Abstract: The present study, carried out in 16 parkinsonian patients, indicates that L-prolyl-L-leucyl-glycine amide possesses some antiparkinsonian activity and that, if used with levodopa, it can reduce some of the drug-induced dyskinesias. These preliminary observations should be submitted to a controlled trial in a large number of patients before therapeutic applications are claimed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
