Title: [Phaeochromocytoma: localisation by computerised scanner tomography. 5 cases (author's transl)]. Author: Reach G, Thibonnier M, Simon A, Plouin PF, Parienty R, Pradel J, Wellers M, Siboulet J, Alexandre JH, Corvol P, Milliez P. Journal: Nouv Presse Med; 1979 Jun 30; 8(29):2391-3. PubMed ID: 493024. Abstract: In five patients with a phaeochromocytoma, axial computerised scanner tomography made it possible to localise the tumour without ambiguity, even when intravenous urography had been interpreted as normal. Although all the tumours diagnosed were relatively large (between 3 and 9 cm), this is nevertheless a non-invasive examination, free of danger and worthy of consideration in the preoperative assessment of a case of phaeochromocytoma.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
