    Abstract:
    668 women, in whom an IUD DANA Super 3 was inserted immediately after legal artificial abortion, were observed. The index of pregnancy was 1.1, index of expulsion was 2.0, and 4% were removed within a year for health reasons. Serious complications arose in only .8% of the cases. A cervical dilation of no more than 11-12 mm is recommended. Adaptation of the uterus was observed to be most comfortable and quick.
