    Seldom the bronchial carcinoma begins with spontaneous pneumothorax. About 20 cases are reported in the literature. A personal observation is described concerning a 63 year old patient with clinical symptoms of spontaneous pneumothorax. The histologic diagnosis was bronchial spinocellular carcinoma.
