Title: Surgical management of diseases of the adolescent female breast: a clinicopathologic study. Author: Gogas J, Sechas M, Skalkeas G. Journal: Am J Surg; 1979 May; 137(5):634-7. PubMed ID: 582236. Abstract: Sixty-three patients, ages 10 to 20 years with diseases of the breast were operated on during a 10 year period. A variety of pathologic entities were found. The most common were diagnoses fibroadenoma, cystic disease, and cellulitis with abscess formation. Malignancy was found in three patients: lobular carcinoma in situ in one, angiosarcoma in the second, and lymphosarcoma in the third.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
