  • Title: Lymecycline and concurrent ingestion of milk.
    Author: Ericson S, Gnarpe H.
Journal: J Int Med Res; 1979; 7(5):471-2. PubMed ID: 583042.
    Abstract:
It has been suggested in the past that milk causes an impaired absorption of tetracycline and this paper describes a study set up to examine any inhibition of absorption of a tetracycline derivative, lymecycline (Tetralysal) with the concurrent intake of milk. The results of the study show no clinical reason for restricting a moderate intake of milk in conjunction with lymecycline therapy.
