Title: Cushing's syndrome associated with galactorrhea, amenorrhea, and hypothyroidism: a primary hypothalamic disorder. Author: Berlinger FG, Ruder HJ, Wilber JF. Journal: J Clin Endocrinol Metab; 1977 Dec; 45(6):1205-10. PubMed ID: 591615. There was no evidence of granulomatous or neoplastic disease in pituitary or hypothalamus. The potential role of excess glucocorticoids and disturbances in normal hypothalamic regulation of anterior pituitary function in the pathophysiology of this syndrome is discussed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
