Title: [Secretory levels of plasma cortisol and aldosterone in normal pregnancy]. Author: Vulkova I, Maleeva A. Journal: Vutr Boles; 1977; 16(6):102-5. PubMed ID: 602153. Abstract: Fifty six females, aged 19-24 were examined ad pregnancy weeks. The plasma concentrations of aldosterone, cortisol, estradiol, estriol and progesteron were determined by radioimmunological methods. The results obtained reveal that the female sex hormones, during normal pregnancy, progressively grow, as well as those of cortisol and aldosteron. Those interrelations are of interest in the treatment of pregnant women with disturbances in the function of the endocrine glands and especially of suprarenal-cortex secretion.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
