  • Title: [Potential sources of errors in the gas chromatographic determination of organochlorine pesticides].
    Author: Khristodorova V.
Journal: Vet Med Nauki; 1976; 13(5):49-55. PubMed ID: 60823.
    Abstract:
It has been found that the reliability of the results obtained in the determination of chlororganic pesticides depends on the frequence of using reagents and adjuncts. When these means are not sufficiently pure peaks suggesting impurities appear in the blenk, which, during the retention time overlap those of some of the chlororganic pesticides (alfa-BHC, gamma-BHC, aldrin) and could mislead the analyst. The present work deals with the methods of purifying the reagents and adjunct material in order to obtain blenk containing no impurities.
