Title: Two oral beta-adrenergic stimulant drugs, pirbuterol and salbutamol, in reversible airway obstruction. Author: Dyson AJ, Mackay AD. Journal: Br J Dis Chest; 1980 Jan; 74(1):70-7. PubMed ID: 6101961. Abstract: Pirbuterol and salbutamol capsules were compared in a multi-centre, double-blind, crossover study. Pirbuterol 10 mg four times daily and salbutamol 4 mg four times daily produced a similar increase in peak expiratory flow rate, matched by the patients' subjective appreciation of decreased beathlessness. Both drugs produced the same incidence of tremor.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
