Abstract: If there are adverse reactions following blood transfusion accurate intervention is necessary. Symptomatical therapy has to start independent from the origin of transfusion reaction. Specific therapy should base on laboratory results. Symptoms, their frequency and severity, are described and therapeutic strategy is outlined.
