Title: [Treatment of dyskinesias with tiapride (author's transl)]. Author: Kocher R, Hobi V. Journal: Sem Hop; ; 56(47-68):2033-4. PubMed ID: 6109379. Abstract: Tiapride was administered to ten patients with late dyskinesias following either prolonged treatment with neuroleptics (nine cases) or Huntington's chorea (one case). The dosage used was 300 mg daily for four weeks, followed by 300 to 600 mg daily during the next four weeks (the basic neuroleptic treatment was continued without modifying the dosage). An objective study on the severity of the dyskinesia demonstrated a significant improvement during the first four weeks, maintained over the following four weeks. Increasing dosage to 900 mg did not modify the results.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
