Title: [The value of arthroscopy in the diagnosis of knee injuries]. Author: Schmidt KH, Rosenberger J, Mödder U, Reichmann W. Journal: Aktuelle Traumatol; 1984 Jun; 14(3):103-5. PubMed ID: 6147965. Abstract: Arthrographic and arthroscopic findings of traumatized knee joints were compared by operation. It was found that endoscopic examination, particularly in case of damage to joint cartilage and cruciated ligaments, is superior to arthrographic examination. The lesions of meniscus could not always be detected radiologically. Hence, whenever there is a suspicious knee joint damage, arthroscopy should be performed liberally.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
