    Abstract:
    Argentation HPLC can be used to separate unlabeled metabolites of 20:4 from their deuterium and tritium-labeled analogs. In many cases baseline resolution of labeled and unlabeled forms is achieved. This method can be used to obtain labeled compounds of high isotopic purity which are suitable for use as standards in radioimmunoassay or GC-MS using selected ion monitoring.
