    Abstract:
    A sensitive tumor in the anterior parotid region of a young woman intraoperatively proved to be a cavernous hemangioma in the masseter muscle. The pronounced sensitivity of this small tumor suggested a malignant growth, especially an adenoid-cystic carcinoma, which frequently causes chronic pain already in an early stage.
