  • Title: [The electric potential at the entrance of the amphotericin channel].
    Author: Gadzhi-zade KhA.
    Journal: Biofizika; 1983; 28(6):999-1001. PubMed ID: 6317060.
    Abstract:
The dependence of the blockage of amphotericin B channel conductance on the concentration of inorganic anions is shown. A model of the interaction of amphotericin B channel with blocker ion is proposed. According to the model the blocker ion is bound to the charged groups of the channel entrance. The inorganic anions also interact with these groups and affect the blocker concentration near the channel entrance.
