    Abstract:
    The study the sequence of the trigger of different factors at the initial stage of realization of the stimulant effect of thyrotropic hormone (TTH) on thyroid cells, the time course of the content of PGE, cAMP and cGMP was examined in isolated thyrocytes after TTH administration. It was found that TTH-induced variation in the content of PGE and cAMP in human thyroid cells is cyclic in nature, with a clear-cut temporary dependence between the cycles being noticed. A possible scheme of realization of the TTH stimulant effect on thyrocytes is discussed. The conclusion is made about the interdependence of the PGE synthesis and cyclic nucleotides.
