Title: [Effect of conditions of agitation and aeration on the biosynthesis of oleandomycin]. Author: Tyshchenko AF, Bylinkina ES, Sobachkina IS, Orekhova VM, Kobzeva VK. Journal: Antibiotiki; 1983 Nov; 28(11):806-10. PubMed ID: 6360035. Abstract: The data on the effect of the aeration and agitation conditions on biosynthesis of oleandomycin in 0.75, 3 and 50 m3 apparatus are presented. The relationship between the biosynthetic parameters, oxygen dissolution rate and specific power consumption for agitation was studied. It was shown that the values of the specific power consumption for agitation were not acceptable for scaling up the process of oleandomycin biosynthesis.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
