Title: Antibiotic prophylaxis in transurethral surgery. Author: Dørflinger T, Madsen PO. Journal: Urology; 1984 Dec; 24(6):643-6. PubMed ID: 6390928. Abstract: In a prospective randomized double-blind study, perioperative prophylaxis with cefoperazone, a third-generation cephalosporin, in transurethral surgery was evaluated.
