  • Title: [Electrocardiographic findings in normal dogs].
    Author: Tat'ianchenko VK.
Journal: Fiziol Zh SSSR Im I M Sechenova; 1978 Feb; 64(2):200-4. PubMed ID: 640086.
    Abstract:
Electrocardiographic findings were obtained in 70 unanesthetized dogs after their adaptation to environment and to forced position on the right side of the body. The Q wave was recorded in more than half of the animals in the standard leads and was absent in the chest those. The T wave was more often negative in the standard leads and positive in the chest ones. The ECG of each dog kept its individual features during the whole period of observation. The data obtained suggest the necessity of using chest leads apart from the standard ones.
