Title: [Methodological approaches to intracavitary gamma therapy of endometrial carcinoma with high activity sources]. Author: Titova VA. Journal: Med Radiol (Mosk); 1983 May; 28(5):8-12. PubMed ID: 6406785. Abstract: Information on the shape of targets for contact irradiation has been classified on the basis of analysis of primary tumors in 200 patients with endometrial carcinoma. Special methodological procedures were proposed for effective intracavitary therapy in endometrial carcinoma using serial Agat-B and Agat-BI type gamma-units with fixed sets of radiation sources and endostats. The proposed variants of intracavitary gamma-therapy with high energy sources are based on their clear dosimetric verification. The resultant dose distributions were computed on the basis of software for contact radiotherapy.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
