    Abstract:
    Two hundred and fifty-six women were treated with clomiphene citrate. As a consequence of treatment preovulatory FSH concentration of the serum increased. There was an improvement of the luteal function in 84.0% of the patients, and 53.9% of them became pregnant. Based on the above data the authors consider clomiphene citrate suitable for treatment of luteal dysfunction. In a number of cases clomiphene treatment proved to be effective even after failure of the gonadotropin treatment.
