Title: [Treatment of corpus luteum insufficiency-induced functional sterility with clomiphene]. Author: Apró G, Daru J, Sas M. Journal: Zentralbl Gynakol; 1983; 105(11):687-92. PubMed ID: 6410617. Abstract: Two hundred and fifty-six women were treated with clomiphene citrate. As a consequence of treatment preovulatory FSH concentration of the serum increased. There was an improvement of the luteal function in 84.0% of the patients, and 53.9% of them became pregnant. Based on the above data the authors consider clomiphene citrate suitable for treatment of luteal dysfunction. In a number of cases clomiphene treatment proved to be effective even after failure of the gonadotropin treatment.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
