    Abstract:
    The authors have performed laparoscopy in 30 children suspected in acute intestinal obstruction. At the present time laparoscopy is believed to be the method enabling the disease to be diagnosed at early stages sufficiently exactly and for a short time. In a number of cases the authors succeeded in liquidating acute intestinal obstruction by menas of a laparoscope and a manipulator without a repeated laparotomy. The authors recommend to use laparoscopy more frequently in acute intestinal obstruction both with diagnostic and curative aims.
