Title: [Importance of electrocardiography under physical loading for the early diagnosis of ischemic heart disease in a nonintegrated polyclinic]. Author: Kokutsov A. Journal: Vutr Boles; 1984; 23(3):73-6. PubMed ID: 6464436. Abstract: With the physical loading, performed under polyclinical conditions, on 78 subjects, aged from 22 to 53, with undistinguished and atypical precordial pains, combined with prevailing neurasthenic complaints, with vegetative symptomatics, positive ECG findings were established in 28 of them (35%) - horizontal and descending depression of the segment S-T - 23 patients, lowering of type J - 5 patients. Suspicious signs of IHD were found in 17 from the examined, manifested with insufficient decrease of the segment S-T. Resulting from the physical loading of the whole patient group, suspicious of IHD, cardiac neurosis was established in 65 per cent of them (having been loaded to 150 W). The electrocardiography with physical loading proved to be a particularly valuable method in the diagnostics of IHD with an atypical course as regards the clinical manifestations or as regards the electrocardiographic findings.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
