Title: [Comparison of results of iridencleisis and covered goniotrepanation]. Author: Mayer H. Journal: Klin Monbl Augenheilkd; 1984 Jun; 184(6):569-71. PubMed ID: 6482281. Abstract: Monolateral fixed iridencleisis and goniotrepanation with a scleral flap are reliable long-term pressure-regulating procedures for all forms of primary glaucoma. They involve little risk of complications. Goniotrepanation with a scleral flap is a technically simpler procedure and is preferred because of the good results obtained with it. Iridencleisis seems to offer advantages only in cases of protracted acute glaucoma.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
