Title: [Disruption of the regulation of glycogen phosphorylation by biogenic amines]. Author: Rozenfel'd EL, Popova IA, Roze LV. Journal: Vopr Med Khim; 1984; 30(5):102-4. PubMed ID: 6528513. Abstract: In rats with experimental cardiomyopathy the content of liver glycogen was considerably higher than in controls and the biogenic amines had no activating effect on glycogen phosphorolysis. The activity of monoamine oxidase was lower in experimental animals than in controls. After injections of monoamine oxidase inhibitors to normal rats no activation of phosphorolysis by biogenic amines was observed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
