Title: Pulmonary gallium-67 uptake in amiodarone pneumonitis. Author: van Rooij WJ, van der Meer SC, van Royen EA, van Zandwijk N, Darmanata JI. Journal: J Nucl Med; 1984 Feb; 25(2):211-3. PubMed ID: 6587027. Abstract: Three patients are presented suffering from interstitial pneumonitis caused by amiodarone. Pulmonary Ga-67 uptake occurred in all three. There appeared to be a discrepancy between the scintigraphic and radiographic findings in two patients. Gallium-67 lung scintigraphy may offer an early, sensitive indicator for amiodarone pneumonitis.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
