Abstract: Case report. Six months after a fracture of the left clavicle beginning of bilateral deafness and tinnitus as the only symptom of an angiographically proved subclavian steal syndrome (SSS). In spite of the well functioning Teflonprothesis the ear symptoms persisted. Remarkable points of the cases were 1. the rare traumatic origin of a SSS, 2. the monosymptoms of the acoustic organ, 3. the necessity of judgement of the ear symptoms by six ENT-specialists with regard of the result of a traumatic origin.
