PubMed ID: 6631846. Abstract: Antiprostaglandin drugs have been found to provide significant relief from dysmenorrhea. Twelve patients taking ibuprofen or mefenamic acid experienced menstrual delay of several days to two weeks and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
