  • Title: [Anesthesiological problems in the surgery of tumors of the 4th ventricle].
    Author: Woschick E.

    Abstract:
Central dysregulation during and after operations of the 4th ventricle is one of the complications that can only be therapeutically influenced with greater difficulties or not decisively, leaving cosmetic corrections out of consideration. In two collectives of patients separated by twenty years of surgical and anaesthesiological development who suffered exclusively form infratentorial tumours with medullar infiltration, the intra- and postoperative life-span. It was found that a pronounced intraoperative dysregulation is associated with an early postoperative lethality in spite of modern intensive-therapeutic measures.
