Title: [Roentgen diagnosis of malignant lymphomas]. Author: Rieden K. Journal: Rontgenblatter; 1984 Feb; 37(2):51-6. PubMed ID: 6710029. Abstract: In all groups of malignant lymphomas, accurate staging before onset of therapy and follow-up controls during and after therapy are mandatory. Non-invasive examination methods for assessing the abdominal and thoracal lymph node sites are: conventional x-ray films of the thorax in two planes with fluoroscopy, tomography and esophagography, as well as computed tomography and sonography. Lymphography is an invasive method of x-ray diagnostics which should be used primarily if the histology is unknown, since this method permits not only to assess the lymph node size, but also the storage structure.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
