    Abstract:
    A series of N-substituted thioureas (II) and some ureas (III) were synthesized in excellent yields by reaction of 4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-7,8,8-trimethyl-3-phenylamino-4,7-methano-2H-indazole with alkyl, aryl isothiocyanates and isocyanates, respectively. On the whole compounds (II) and (III) showed hypotensive and in some cases hypoglycemic activity in rats. Effects on heart rate in rats, infiltration anesthesia in mice and antiacetylcholine activity in vitro are also reported.
