Title: T and B lymphocytes in patients with sinobronchitis syndrome (SBS). Author: Zieliński A, Gorzkiewicz-Zielińska E. Journal: Allergol Immunopathol (Madr); 1982; 10(3):191-4. PubMed ID: 6756102. Abstract: The number of T and B lymphocytes in 32 patients with sinobronchitic syndrome was evaluated. T cell numbers were determined by E rosette formation, and direct immunofluorescence was employed to study the B cell surface receptors. Results were compared with data from healthy individuals. A relative increase in the total lymphocyte population and a statistically significant increase in the number of B lymphocytes with IgG-SIg in the patients was observed. From our results, humoral immune response does not seem to participate significantly in the pathogenesis of the sinobronchitic syndrome.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
