    Abstract:
    In summary, we would like to emphasize that the significance of modern waste water purification plants is generally recognized today. However, salmonella concentration in the water of the Mur river has not decreased, in spite of increased numbers of waste water purification plants and related measures taken in the past decade. This statement is not a criticism, but a deplorable fact which must be acknowledged by all who are involved in the combat against salmonellas.
