Title: Role of a secretagogue immunoglobulin in gastric acid secretion. Author: Dobi S, Lenkey B. Journal: Acta Physiol Acad Sci Hung; 1982; 60(1-2):9-25. PubMed ID: 6764082. Abstract: Results of this study showed that in a considerable number of patients with duodenal ulcer a globulin of the IgG class was responsible for the enhancement of HCl secretion. This secretagogue globulin appeared to combine directly with the H2 receptors of the parietal cells thereby increasing hydrochloric acid output without the formation of antigen-antibody complex.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
