Title: Cutaneous macroglobulinosis. Author: Hanke CW, Steck WD, Bergfeld WF, Valenzuela R, Weick JK, Young JR, Gross EG. Journal: Arch Dermatol; 1980 May; 116(5):575-7. PubMed ID: 6769394. Abstract: A patient with Waldenström's macroglobulinemia had firm, translucent papules and nodules on the extremities. Clinically, the skin lesions were suggestive of amyloidosis cutis. Histologically, a homogeneous eosinophilic material was observed in the upper dermis and encasing the hair follicles.
