Title: Renal function in protein-energy malnutrition. Author: Paniagua R, Santos D, Muñoz R, Luengas J, Frenk S. Journal: Pediatr Res; 1980 Nov; 14(11):1260-2. PubMed ID: 6779258. Investigation of these functions in eight marasmic infants and eight children with kwashiorkor once they were free of obvious infections and acute electrolyte disturbances has shown a practically normal renal performance.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
