    Abstract:
    Lithium carbonate was administered to a female manic depressive patient who also had maturity onset diabetes mellitus. She was found to have lowered blood glucose levels with administration of lithium without change in the other variables which could effect blood glucose levels. In could be concluded that lithium carbonate had antidiabetic effects in this case.
