Abstract: Cutaneous erythematous reaction patterns are signs of hypersensitivity to inciting agents, both endogenous and exogenous. They include erythema multiforme, toxic epidermal necrolysis, erythema nodosum and the figurate erythemas. A thorough evaluation is often necessary to identify the provocative agent.
