    Author: Voigt R, Stoll W, Hempel E.
    Journal: Z Geburtshilfe Perinatol; 1982; 186(3):111-3. PubMed ID: 6889785.
    Abstract:
The uteroplacental circulation has a decisive influence on the growth and development of the fetus. On the basis of personal investigations in 57 women whose course of pregnancy was normal, the method of measuring placental blood flow with 113m-indium chloride is described, the results obtained are presented. The possibility of a connection between uteroplacental circulation and increasing age of the mother, as well as with gestational age, is examined.
