Title: [Therapeutic effectiveness of gentamycin and rifampicin in experimental staphylococcal-Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection and their effect on immunological processes]. Author: Dnestranskaia LI, Tsyganenko AIa. Journal: Antibiotiki; 1982 Aug; 27(8):626-31. PubMed ID: 6889836. Abstract: The survival level of the experimental animals with infection caused by Staphylococcus and Ps. aeruginosa was the highest when the animals were treated with a combination of gentamicin and rifampicin as compared to the use of every antibiotic alone. The combination had a more favourable effect on the plasmocytic reaction and production of the antibody-forming cells in the lymphoid organs which correlated with the therapeutic efficacy of the antibiotics.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
