Title: [Indications for electroretinograms (ERG) and electrooculograms (EOG)]. Author: Hackelbusch R. Journal: Fortschr Med; 1982 Aug 05; 100(29):1338-41. PubMed ID: 6897052. Abstract: After a short introduction about the ERG and EOG different indications for electrophysiological tests are pointed out. By means of ERG and EOG it is possible to distinguish diffuse tapetoretinal degenerations from other ophthalmological, very similar retinal diseases. With the help of the electrophysiological tests one can find the place of damage of the very same retinal disease. Only in combination with other examination methods one can confirm a diagnosis by means of the electrophysiology.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
